On Tuesday, May 7, 2019, Lewis and Raulerson, Inc. donated money to the Coastal Pines Technical College (CTPC) Foundation. Lewis and Raulerson, Inc. is a local company that sees the benefits in partnering with the college in providing opportunities for students by way of donating money. This particular donation was made to the Environmental Horticulture Program at CPTC and will go to benefitting students that are pursuing horticulture as their program of study. The check was presented to the college on behalf of Lewis and Raulerson by Casey Hall and was received by Stephanie Roberts, Director of Institutional Advancement, Dr. Glenn Deibert, President, and Mark Deal, Horticulture Instructor at Coastal Pines.
The Environmental Horticulture Program at Coastal Pines Technical College is a sequence of courses that prepares students for careers in environmental horticulture. The program provides learning opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and technical knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.
