Bulloch Commissioners Appoint Animal Shelter Advisory Committee

At Tuesday’s Board of Commissioners Meeting, Bulloch Commissioners approved the appointment of five members to an Animal Shelter Advisory Committee.

In an effort to increase the number of adoptable animals in the Bulloch County Animal Shelter and to seek alternative methods for support, the Commissioners appointed the following members of the Bulloch community:

• Dr. Richard Marz DDS
• Ms. Jody Warwin
• Ms. Carrie Mitchell
• Dr. Janice Grumbles DVM
• Ms. Carole Smith

Now that their appointments have been confirmed, the Committee will meet to create by-laws and set meeting times and dates.

The appointment was approved as part of the consent agenda and passed unanimously.
