Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) contractors will implement overnight lane closures in the Marietta area on I-75 in Cobb County this week to continue resurfacing activities.
Weather permitting, beginning tonight at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Wednesday, May 8, three right lanes and outside shoulder will be closed on I-75 southbound between the Canton Rd and S. Marietta Pkwy exits.
In addition, beginning tomorrow evening at 9 p.m., until 5 a.m., Thursday, three right lanes and outside shoulder will be closed on I-75 southbound between N. Marietta Pkwy and Delk Rd. Contractors will also temporarily close the S. Marietta Pkwy entrance ramp. Motorists will be directed to take US 41/Cobb Parkway to Delk Rd back to I-75 southbound.
