Authorities say a 70-year-old woman who was hit by a school bus in Georgia remains in critical condition.
Trenton Police Chief Christy Smith told news outlets that Linda Diane Hulgan was hit by a bus on its way to pick up students from Dade Middle School on Tuesday afternoon. She says Dulgan was removed from life support Wednesday, but remains in an intensive care unit.
Smith says the Georgia State Patrol is trying to figure out if the crosswalk had signaled Hulgan to walk.
Dade County Superintendent Jan Harris says the bus was not damaged and has been cleared to get back on the road.
Police aren’t sure if the bus driver will face charges.
No students were aboard the bus at the time of the crash.
